CUFOS

CUFOS is a PC based control system created by DN Solutions.
Equipped with intuitive and user-friendly functions such as a smart phone screen and easy customization, CUFOS helps to improve operational efficiency and performance for the user.

Providing touch-based operation, similar to an App, the machine tool can be used as you would a smartphone.

CUFOS provides not only the basic UI for operating machines, but also large-capacity program storage by adopting PC-based hardware.
It also enables the creation of tool paths for special machining (Sketch Technology), an interactive programming system (Sketch Turn),
measurement code creation system, machine simulation, and a real-time collision protection system (CPS).

It is also possible to hold/store specific functions developed by the customer.

  1. ① Common Information Window

    Regardless of selected functions, the information display window will be shown constantly.
    It consists of the home screen return button, previous App return button, alarm message, machine status icon, and the NC mode information display function.

    Displays the App execution button to be selected without having to return to the home screen.

  3. ③ Batch edition of App selection button and shortcuts

    Selects the App selection button shown on the screen, changes the App button location and selects the App button to be displayed to enable the shortcut.

    Machine Tools, is an integrated system solution using an intuitive 19 inch touch screen. The system provides a convenient operator interface, a high level of customization and many useful high technology apps.

    The CUFOS operating system is based upon the integration of all aspects of the manufacturing process, including setting, machining and maintenance.
    It consolidates up-to-date software technology created by DN Solutions
    Machine Tools, to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
    Using the system’s modular construction, each function can be easily integrated with external PC software systems and applications, such as CAM and Tool Data systems.

  • Maximizing efficiency for multi-tasking machining

    Applied to those multi-tasking turning centers like the PUMA SMX series as well as high performance and high-productivity horizontal machining center NHP/NHM series, CUFOS maximizes operational efficiencies by adding up-to-date software technology from DN Solutions, including newly developed applications such as the CPS (Collision Protection System), Turn-cut, and the Tool Management function etc.

    • - Displays the cause and necessary action for NC/PMC alarms during machine running time. The system can send an email containing the alarm message if the condition persists for a specified length of time.

    • - Linear scales and ball screw shaft cooling are requirements
    • - Renishaw NC4 should be included depending on the level of precision required

  • Terms of Service for the End User of Sketch-Turn Software

    Please read this sketch-turn software(hereinafter referred to as the "Software") fully and in detail before installing and using it.

    These terms of service for the end user of sketch-turn software(hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are a legal contract for the Software executed between DN Solutions Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the end user(hereinafter referred to as the "User").

    If and when the User checked off in the column of checkboxes on the “Consent to the Terms”, or installed and copied, or executed any and all of the Software on a computer or network, it is regarded that such User agreed to the contents of the Terms for service. If you do not agree to the Terms, please press the cancel button or do not use the Software.

    Using the Software means that the User read and understood the Terms and agreed to the same.

    Article 1. Statement, effects and revision of the Terms
    1) The Terms are made public in the course of installing and using the Software, and the User's agreeing to the Terms causes the effects to be taken.
    2) The Company may revise the Terms if it is considered necessary, and shall make the revised Terms publicly known by specifying the applicable date and reasons for revision along with the current Terms on the corresponding screen, or make the revised Terms publicly known to the User through registration until the preceding day of applicable date from seven days before the applicable date.
    3) The User has a right to refuse the changed Terms. The User may express intention of refusal within 15 days after the changed Terms are made publicly known, through the Software web site of the Company. In the event that the User refuses to do so, the Company may restrict such User's service.

    Article 2. The Company's obligation
    1) A license for installation and use of the Software is granted by the Company only to the User who agreed to and purchased the license for a consideration.
    2) In the event that there is an obstacle to the facilities and Software or that the related data is lost, the Company shall repair or restore to the original state so as to provide continued and stable services.
    3) In the event that opinions or complaints raised by the User are objectively recognized proper, the Company shall immediately deal with the same through its internal procedures. If the immediate handling is difficult, the Company shall inform the User of the reasons and handling schedule.
    4) If and when the Software is updated, the Company shall immediately provide the User with the updated Software. However, the situations of update may cause any functions of the already provided Software not to be used.

    Article 3. The User's right and obligation
    1) A license for the Software(the “License”) is granted by the unit of the User. The Software is not sold, but its use is granted. By agreeing to the Terms, the User acquires the right of using the Software.
    2) In order to use the Software, USB lock-key is essential. Responsibility for use of the key granted to you should rest with you. Further, the key shall not be shared with the third party.
    3) The User shall not alter, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software.
    4) The User shall not lease or sell the Software for commercial use, and shall not provide commercial services by using the Software.
    5) The User shall not infringe upon the other person's intellectual property rights by using the Software.
    6) The User shall comply with the Terms and related laws and ordinances, and shall not commit any act which interferes with the business of the Company, such as tort, etc.
    7) The Company shall not take any responsibility for results caused by the User's such acts.

    Article 4. Copyright to the Software
    1) A right, ownership, title and intellectual property right for the Software and the related documents shall be possessed by the Company.
    2) The Software, original technology and documents related to them shall be protected by the domestic and universal copyright convention.
    3) The User does not possess the Software, but only a right to use it (license) is granted.
    4) In the event that the User violates the Terms or there is a reason for conclusion of cooperation relationship, the Company may withdraw the granted license.

    Article 5. Restriction to the Company's liability
    1) The Company does not warrant whether the contents of data provided through the Software are authentic, or its copyright is observed, with the exception of the case which the Company directly manufactures and provides.
    2) The Company warrants that for 30 days from the day when the Software was purchased, there shall be no physical defect in the accessories including USB lock-key. If any defect occurs for mistake in the manufacture during such period, the Company shall make an exchange free of charge.
    3) In the event that the User wants to make an exchange, such User shall prove that 30 days have not passed from the day of purchase. In case where damage was caused by the User's carefulness or mistake and negligent handling, the Company does not make an exchange.
    4) The Company shall not take any responsibility for damage occurred to the User due to installation, use and impossible use of the Software, with the exception of the case which damage was caused by the Company's intention or gross negligence.
    5) The Company shall not be liable to the User for the expected earnings which the User failed to gain or lost by using the Software.
    6) The Company shall not be obliged to intervene in a dispute caused by services between the Users, and between the User and the third party, and shall not liable for such resultant damage.

    Article 6. Matter of liability for consequential damage
    1) Consequences for use of the Software shall entirely rest with the User's responsibility, and the User shall be liable for adequacy of the User's object to use the Software, as well as its quality.
    2) In the event that loss of profits, suspension of business, loss or damage of business information or money, and incidental and indirect damage including damage on business similar to such loss or damage occurred since the Software could not be used for any reason for which the Company is not responsible, or the User failed to properly recognize the use instructions, the Company shall be liable for the same only in case where it knew about the possible damage in advance, or it would have known about the same if it had fulfilled normal duty of care.
    3) As a jurisdiction may cause responsibility for such resultant or incidental damage not to be excluded or restricted, such restrictions may or may not apply to the User.

    Article 7. Termination of a contract and compensation for damage
    1) In the event that the User fails to comply with the Terms, the Company may terminate a contract for license of the Software. In this case, the User shall delete all of original Software and its copies and the corresponding components.
    2) The User may terminate this contract by deleting the Software at any time.
    3) In the event that the User caused damage to the Company, the Company may claim compensation of damage against the User apart from termination of a license contract.

    Article 8. Applicable rules other than the Terms
    Matters which are not set forth in the Terms shall be subject to related laws and ordinances.

    Article 9. Settlement of disputes
    Disputes arising for use of the Software shall be submitted to Seoul Central District Court as the competent court of first instance.

    Article 10. Inquiries for a contract
    Purchase of a license for use of the Software and any inquiries for the Terms shall be directed to the following address/web site.

    Article 11. Consent to collection and utilization of the User's input data, and provision of input to the third party(consigned handling and transfer to a foreign country)
    1) The User agrees that the Company will collect the User's input data such as the product information, company name, downloading time, etc.(hereinafter referred to as the "User's input data") so that the Company can deal with the User's inquiries and complaint, and verify whether authentic goods are used by the User.
    2) The User agrees that the Company will designate a company for consignment of services to manage the Software downloading web site, and the system, and provide the User's input data.
    3) The User acknowledges and agrees to the facts that in the Company's collecting and utilizing the User's input data and providing the third party with them to verify whether authentic goods are used by the User, such data can be transferred to a foreign country.
    4) The Company shall not utilize the User's input data for any purposes other than contents of the User's consent, and shall possess until objects for the collection, utilization and provision to the third party are achieved.
